Welcome to Kaizen Academy

Our goal is to develop children of character in a faith nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence and fun-filled, hands-on learning experiences.

Principal/President, Kaizen Academy

Nicole Seymour

It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Kaizen Academy. Our school’s focus is on helping students reach their full academic potential, developing Christian faith and moral character, and acquiring social confidence and responsibility. The size and structure of our school allows for each child to be treated as an individual. The staff at Kaizen Academy takes their role as mentors very seriously. Their objective is to seek to mentor young students as they begin to take responsibility for their own decisions, determine their own attitudes and form their own opinions as to what life is all about.

Kaizen Academy is excited to begin its journey as a revolutionary in the evolution of education that is reshaping today’s students and the world. At Kaizen, we believe that it is the purpose of education to address the educational needs of students through meaningful and tangible experiences, immersing them in a balanced and varied program designed to suit student’s needs and interests.

Several basic principles underlie our educational philosophy. Firstly, we are aware that each child is unique. Secondly, that there is individual potential in all children and excellence in every child. Thirdly, children are skilled in how to think critically and logically about the world around them in order to make informed and accurate decisions about their education. Finally, the social and emotional climate of the classroom should be such that each child’s contribution is valued, each child takes responsibility for the community by respecting people and property and each child fully engages in order to take personal responsibility for his/her learning experiences and interests.

Our approach to learning is remarkably simple. Put talented and diverse young people together with skilled and dedicated adults, and support from engaged and committed families and you create extraordinary results that speak for themselves.

Although this year looks different than any other year in the educational arena, we are dedicated to providing your child(ren) with a memorable, interactive, engaging distance learning experience. To this end, I assure you that Kaizen Academy is a school worthy of your serious attention and consideration, and I welcome your interest in our exciting school. It gives me great pleasure to invite you to seek an appointment with me to discuss the education needs of your child. I am confident that Kaizen Academy can assist you in this most important decision.

Kaizen Philosophy

The driving philosophy of Kaizen is expressed in the term Purpose Path, inspired by the writings of author Nicholas Pearce The Purpose Path: A Guide to Pursuing Your Authentic Life’s Work.’ Kaizen believes each student’s success is ultimately measured by the extent to which their education prepares them to satisfy their personal interests. To this end, Kaizen will work with each student to develop their individual interests by providing them with opportunities to explore their interests and passion.
