Admission

Kaizen Academy is pleased that you are considering joining our community of families, and we look forward to welcoming you when you arrive.  Kaizen Academy has a rolling admission policy and will process completed applications as long as space is available.  Please note that a parent interview, students interview and a diagnostic testing requirement are in place for all incoming students.

Please read our Admissions Policy before beginning an online application.

Step 1 - Apply online

Submit an online application and pay the non-refundable application fee of $100 per student.

Step 2 - Application Fee Payment

After application submission, and payment of the application fee, the school office will contact families to schedule a school tour.  Completion of this step will confirm your child’s placement on the waitlist.

Step 3 -Student/Parent Interview

Once the application has been processed, and space is available, the school’s office will contact the families on the waitlist to schedule a parent/student interview.  Both student and parent are expected to attend the interview.

Step 4 - Placement Decision

Following the interview, a placement decision will be made and families will have 10 days to accept the placement, and pay the non-refundable $500 Seat Fee.  This fee will be applied to the first semester’s tuition.   A notification from the office including the next steps will be sent via email.

Step 5 - Registration & Notification

Once a family has accepted their child’s enrollment offer to Kaizen Academy, and paid the registration fee, completion of the enrollment process will finalize placement.  An email will be sent to families with instructions for next steps (including diagnostic testing, tuition payment, uniform ordering).

CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FEE: $600 NON-REFUNDABLE
CDF is a mandatory and non-refundable fee for all new students upon starting Kaizen Academy. This fee allows the school to make investments in technology and the school’s physical infrastructure throughout the calendar year. Payments must be made in full upon acceptance.

Diagnostic Testing Fee: The diagnostic testing fee is a one-time fee for new students only. This testing identifies a student's learning level as well as any areas of weakness that need to be addressed and mastered. This testing is mandatory for all incoming students.

  • It is the school’s policy that a student’s seat will be forfeited if tuition payments are not received by the due date.
  • Tuition not received within three days of the payment due date is subject to a $75.00 late fee- no exceptions.
  • Please note that a 1.5% finance charge is added monthly to all outstanding invoices (including cafeteria and student activity accounts).
  • There is a $35.00 fee for all returned cheques.

Annual - 1 payment of annual tuition and development fund (1 time) fee, paid in full by August 15th.  Kaizen Academy offers a 5% tuition discount with the annual plan.

Semester - 3 equal payments due on July 15th, November 15th and March 15th  for the annual tuition.

Monthly - 10 equal payments due on the 15th of each month August through May.

Sibling Discount

  • 15% discount is offered to the third child.
  • 20% discount for the fourth and subsequent children

In cases of late enrollment, payments are allocated over the remaining months of the monthly plan schedule.  Extended care fees, optional activity fees, and other charges will be billed from the school office.  Notification is sent to the families at the time incurred.
