In-Person Tutoring (Kindergarten-6th Grade)

Kaizen Academy is offering In-Person Tutoring (IPT) for students in grades Kindergarten to Grade 6. Our tutoring program is highly personalized and designed with a targeted results driven approach. Kaizen Academy Bridges the Gap between online learning and the classroom by providing an in-person tutoring program designed to specifically identify and target learning gaps.

How we do it…

  • Step 1

    Assess: We begin with a diagnostic assessment to identify weaknesses.

  • Step 2

    Targeted Instruction : Next, we prescribe curriculum material that targets and addresses the weaknesses to correct them.

  • Step 3

    Reassess : We reassess the skill to ensure that the student has achieved mastery before moving on.

Fees:

In-Person Tutoring:

$65 per week or $25 per day

  • This program runs 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm Tuesday – Thursday (3 days per week)
  • Drop Off Time 3:30 pm. Pick Up Time 5:30 p.m.
  • Sibling discounts (10%) are offered for additional students
  • A two-week notice must be provided for withdrawing from the IPT Program

Our In-Person Tutoring Services:

Our IPT services are intended for elementary age children whose need additional support in any of the core subject areas. In order to ensure that we continue to be safe and employ strict adherence to all COVID-19 safety protocols, space will be extremely limited. There will only be 20 slots available for the IPT program, and students will be admitted on a first come, first served basis once the required enrollment fee has been paid.

Notes:

  • All students should bring their own snacks, however snacks will also be available for purchase through the school. Please remember Kaizen Academy is a NUT-FREE environment.
  • Parents and Visitors will NOT be allowed to enter the building pass the drop off station in the main hallway.
  • Children will be dropped off at the door and collected in the same manner during dismissal.
  • Tutoring sessions will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m., and all sessions will include a break period during which time students will be allowed to have a snack and enjoy outdoor recreation.
  • All teachers and students will be required to wear masks.
